Patience is a Virtue

And apparently one that I lack. I want everything to happen my way, and I want it to happen five minutes ago!

My newest heroine feels exactly the same way. Quinn Harper has a lot to say, and she demands to be heard. I find it makes life easier to just cater to my characters. So, though, I know that I said my main focus was to finished up Pieces of Me, it has been put on the back burner. Quinn wants her story told, and like me, she wants it done yesterday!

Who can blame her, though? She's just your ordinary girl. She's not supermodel thin or movie star pretty. She doesn't put on makeup to run to the mailbox, and she'd live in her pajamas if she could. Somehow, though, she's managed to nab her long time secret love, and steamy hot new detective in town, Zachary Jensen.

Zach's a pretty laid back kind of guy, but fiercely protective of the people he loves. A former special agent for the FBI, he's given up the under cover gig, and has come home to live a quiet life. He doesn't much care how quickly I can get his story out there, though he does mention it would make life with Quinn easier for him.

So, Emery and Keely are on hold for the time being, while I argue with Quinn and Zach and all of their family and friends in Life Out Loud.
