Gabrielle Evans: Welcome Leontii Holender!

Leontii Holender lives in the sleepy little town of Greenville, South Carolina. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts and was raised all across the United States. She has lived mostly in the southern states with large cities. She's called New Orleans, Memphis, and Atlanta home, just to name a few. She moved into the area in order to help take care of her ill mother and has since found herself with a plethora of free time to write.

Leontii has been writing for about eight years now and is a full-time author. The writing bug bit her rather early in her life and since she discovered she enjoyed it, she hasn’t stopped. She started writing short stories in high school and has since moved on to focus on novels. She likes writing erotic fiction the most and tends to lean towards strong elements of horror, suspense, fantasy, mythos, and the paranormal.

Q: Do you have any scars? How did you get them?

Scars? I have one on my ankle that’s in the shape of a crescent moon. When I was a child, my brother ‘accidentally’ pushed me down a hill during a hike in the woods. I was a sickly child and a slight teen. You could say it was a bit of a sore point for me.

Q: What is your biggest fear?

I’m sorry, but little kids are just creepy. I’ve never liked them and tend to get very uncomfortable around then. A little spit up and I will run the other way.

Q: When is the last time you really laughed out loud? What made you laugh?

I laugh all the time around Sivney. For an enforcer, he could be a stand up comedian. He always helps me see the lighter side of things.

Q: What is your favorite thing about Sivney?

If I were being shallow, I’d say his abs. I’m a sucker for a man with muscles and an abdomen that resembles a washboard. On a deeper level, I love his ability to be serious. I might have my head in the clouds, but he always grounds me. We’re two parts to a whole.

Q: What are you plans for the future?

Right now, I’m just focused on enjoying life for what it is. I have everything I want—a successful nightclub, the man of my dreams, and the chance to see the world with him as we help solve the investigations Siv is assigned to.

Q: Who was your first love?

I’ve never had much more than a few crushes in my human life. My time as a vampire has been spent angry at the world and dedicated to my work before Sivney walked into Calamity for the first time.

Q: How has your opinion on love changed since meeting Sivney?

I never knew what it was like to have someone love me truly for the person I am. I’m lucky enough to be with a person that’s able to show me as much kindness, acceptance, passion, as he is able to show me love and affection. He’s shown me how a real man loves another. I could never ask for more.

Q: What is one thing that annoys you about Sivney?

For a vampire, he loves to nap and loves to snore. It’s like being in the same bed as a lumberjack sawing logs.

Q: Boxers or Briefs?

*Blushes!* Isn’t that a little personal? …Briefs.

Q: Other than Sivney, what is the one thing in life you can’t live without?

I can’t live without my club. It’s as much of my pride and joy as Sivney is.
