Welcome Author Tara Rose!

ABOUT

TARA ROSE
tararose.writesromance@gmail.com

Tara Rose loves to write about small towns and the quirky people that inhabit them. You’ll find engaging characters, budding romance, intrigue and plenty of hot steamy ménage sex within the pages of her books. You never really know what goes on behind closed doors, but her books will take you there, and leave you panting for more.

When she isn’t writing, Tara spends time with her husband—her real-life hero. She loves to cook, collect antique pottery, and she will read just about anything. Tara also plays the cello, and loves decorating her house for Christmas.

Dozens of doubts flitted through her mind, but when Chad pulled her into his arms and tenderly kissed her cheek, Annalise forgot about them as desire swept through her. She snuggled against his muscled body and closed her eyes, trying to fight against the waves of uncertainly coursing through her. This could easily end in disaster, but it could also be the most erotic night of her entire life.

She pulled out of Chad’s embrace and sat on the edge of the sofa. “We need to talk about this. How is this supposed to work? What happens if I’m with only one of you? Are we talking about taking turns, or it is your intention that all three of us have sex together?”

She almost laughed at the looks on their faces. They were a cross between surprise and confusion. “That’s not what I meant. I know you two aren’t sexually involved with each other. What I mean is, are you saying you want to share me, as in at the same time? And would I still have time with each of you separately if we did that?”

“Well,” said Chad finally, “I can’t speak for Dustin, but I wouldn’t have a problem sharing you with him at the same time.”

Dustin sighed. “I won’t protest that either. But I think the ultimate decision on whether we share you in bed at the same time is up to you, Annalise. Not us.”

“Oh…” She’d never considered something like that before tonight. She had no issues with it, but the situation had simply never presented itself, and so she hadn’t had to deal with it. Did she want that? Yes, she did. But she also wanted her separate time with each man.

“You certainly don’t have to make a decision tonight,” said Dustin. He stood. “In fact, I’ve intruded on your evening with Chad long enough, so I think I’ll just—”

“Don’t go.” Chad cut him off. “I wouldn’t feel right about it. Not after everything we’ve just said to each other.” He cut his gaze to Annalise. “As long as it’s all right with Annalise, I’d like you to stay.”

Annalise bit her lip to hold back the moan. The testosterone level in the room must have risen to ridiculous levels because suddenly her nipples tingled and her clit throbbed. She had no idea what she’d done to deserve these two sexier-than-life men who both wanted her, but she was tired of questioning it. It was obvious they were all right with sharing her in bed. So, why not?

“It’s your decision, Annalise.” Dustin’s voice was calm, but the raging lust in his eyes and the way his jaw muscle twitched gave him away. She’d leave the question of separate time with each man for another day.

Annalise stood up and took off her robe, holding Dustin’s gaze. As it fluttered to the floor, she heard Chad swear under his breath. Without looking at him, she turned and walked toward her bedroom. Her heart was beating so fast she was afraid she’d pass out before she actually reached her bed. Some seduction scene that would turn out to be. She could almost picture herself being carted away in an ambulance with both men racing down the street after it, fighting over who got to see her first in the ER. The scandal would be all over town before noon tomorrow.

She didn’t even make it into the room before strong arms encircled her from behind, and she breathed in Chad’s clean musky scent. “Are you sure about this, sweetheart?” he whispered, nuzzling her neck. His erection pressed against her bare ass, and even through his boxers it forced a moan from her throat.

“Yes,” she said, leaning into his embrace. “Absolutely certain.”

Chad picked her up and dumped her unceremoniously onto the bed as Annalise giggled. He tore off his boxers and covered her body, kissing her roughly. She wrapped her arms and legs around him and watched over his shoulder as Dustin shed his clothes in what had to be record time. His cock sprang out, thick, red, and ready. Annalise moaned into Chad’s open mouth and reached out for Dustin with one hand.

Dustin moved next to her and Chad on the bed and stroked her hair, gazing into her eyes with the most intense lust she’d ever seen. Chad moved from her mouth to her nipples, grazing his teeth over one then the other.

INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW

Q: If you could spend a day with one of your characters, who would it be and why?
Kari Tye and Alexa Monahan, the heroines from Winning Her Racy Heart (Kari) and Claiming Their Racy Sub (Alexa). They own and operate Racy’s only sex shop, and they’re simply cool, kick-ass heroines who would be a blast to hang out with.

Q: What do you feel is the hardest part of the writing process?
Having time to write!

Q: How do you keep your characters and stories organized?
I have a master Word doc with everything about the series, from which businesses are on what streets to who used to live where, and with whom. Then I have a Word doc for each book in the series that goes into detail about the heroine and each hero, and lists the characters introduced in that particular book. This document also contains the timeline for that particular book.

Q: What is the one thing you must have to be able to write?
My music. I can write in absolute silence as well, but usually do better with my playlists in the background.

Q: What are you currently working on? How is it different from other books you’ve written?
I’m working on the books for the Seduction Ridge series. They, too, will be MFM ménage, contemporary, BDSM, but Seduction Ridge has a different feel to it than Racy.

Q:What advice would you give an aspiring author about the ins and outs of the industry?
Learn your craft, respect those who have been there and done that already and learn from them, and never be afraid to ask questions. It shows you care about this industry and about making your writing be the best it can be. Promo does not mean you spam others, and it does not mean you jump on someone else’s Facebook post or tweet to pitch your own work. The best thing you can do to attract the attention of readers is to write a great book, and then keep writing them.

Q: When is your favorite time of day to write?
Early morning when I’m fresh and awake, but because I work a full time job I have to sneak in writing when I can.

Q: When and where can readers look forward to seeing you this year?
The Seduction Ridge series as well as the Racy Nights series will continue, and I plan to start a third series as well.

  1. I just bought "Winning Her Racy Heart" earlier this week because I loved the cover for "Tempting Their Racy Shrink" on the sidebar of Gabrielle's blog, but I am OCD and can't start in the middle of a series. What I'm trying to say is, I loved it. I'm about to start "Taming Their Racy Sub"...I really like the premise of the series. I look forward to reading more.
